Emily joined Tucker Lab in December 2010 and is currently a Research Specialist. She attended Kirkwood Community College to receive her AAS in Veterinary Technology and is a Registered Veterinary Technician and Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist. She has experience working with a Veterinary Specialty Clinic and the Iowa Lions Eye Bank. Emily is responsible for supervising DTVRF activities associated with local and systemic toxicology studies, genotyping, histology, and working to gather and analyze study data. Emily is also a member of AALAS and the Eastern Iowa Veterinary Association. She is Head of the Social Media Committee for the Iowa Branch of AALAS. She enjoys traveling and exploring Iowa City with her children.
