Laura joined the IVR team in 2016 and is a Research Scientist in Tucker Lab. She completed her PhD at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in cancer research and did her Postdoctoral training at the University of Minnesota. Thanks to this, Laura joined us with over thirteen years of experience in molecular and cellular biology research. Her days in lab involve differentiating patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells to model rare inherited eye diseases and develop treatments as well as developing strategies for cell replacement therapy.
